A few weeks ago I posted pictures of our new and improved equipment room. Making that space feel bigger and more inviting is the first step towards creating a more exciting summer curriculum for campers. Now when counselors experience a moment of creative genius they can easily source the right tools to bring their vision to life. This means…more fun…for everyone.

But that change was long overdue; I mean, the room was a mess.

Aside from making the necessary adjustments to our facilities (looking at you, Sandy!), we’re always looking for smart ways to engage and welcome the Nabby community (that means campers, and parents, and alumni, and neighbors, and staff—everyone who feels compelled to walk through our front gate).

In previous years, coming to visit Joe & Rita in the front office meant hiking up our ramp. It wasn’t the worst ramp in the world, but it proved time after time to be a bit of an obstacle. And now it’s gone!

In place of said ramp are these things called “stairs.” They’re actually pretty cool. In addition, we now have a runway of sorts that leads from our front gate to the camp office. We’re pretty sure the UPS guy is gonna love it.
